How do you speak to our Youth about a “Character Trait” when they are just beginning to learn there are such things and that they have choices between good character traits and bad character traits? We believe that a Character Trait is “the Story of You”... it is all those things that make you - You! 


A Character Trait is everything about your personality. It is how you treat others. It is how you deal with problems and how you help others. It is about how you choose to help yourself. It is how you deal with work... and how you play.

The LoneStar Ranger Academy provides to our Youth the opportunity to make the Five Character Traits of a Ranger their Character Traits.

Courage

Courage is doing what you have to do even when you face difficulty or danger.

Determination

Determination is deciding that you are going to do the right thing and then doing it no matter what gets in your way.

Dedication

Dedication is being devoted, or giving of yourself or your effort to something.

Respect
Respect means that you understand that other people are just like you and you should think about how your actions affect others.

Integrity

Integrity means we are responsible for our actions and that we do what we say we are going to do.
